Getting started
We4NRI is a Chennai based service for NRIs, OCIs and Indians abroad. We handle Indian documents, attestation and apostille, education records, property care, tax and banking paperwork, OCI support and translation. We are a private service, not a government agency.
In most cases, yes. You sign an authorisation and share scans. Our team in India applies at the registrar, university or office, follows up, and ships the finished set to you by tracked courier. If an office needs you in person, we tell you early.
We support Indians in the USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, the UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and across Europe, including Germany, the Netherlands, France and Ireland. If you live elsewhere, send us a message and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
Send a WhatsApp message, fill in the contact form or book a call. Tell us which document or task you need, which country will use it and who asked for it. We reply with the route, the papers we need and the next steps.
Use Book a Call and pick a slot. Times are shown so you can match them to your local time. We work Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM India time, which suits evenings in the USA and Canada and daytime in the Gulf, Asia and Europe.
No. We prepare paperwork and follow the process. When advice is needed, we work with qualified chartered accountants and advocates, or with the lawyer or migration agent you already use. Government offices and receiving authorities decide every outcome.
Documents and attestation
An apostille is a single certificate for countries that belong to the Hague Apostille Convention. Embassy attestation is a longer chain used for other countries, where the destination embassy confirms the Indian seals. Which one you need depends on the country and the receiving office.
Many countries accept it, including the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Germany, the Netherlands, France and Ireland. Rules differ by office and by document. Ask the receiving office for its written instruction, send it to us, and we will confirm the route.
Yes, in most cases. We identify the right registrar, prepare the application and follow up with your authorisation. The time depends on the municipality or panchayat and on whether the birth was registered on time.
You may need a late registration, or a Non Availability of Birth Certificate letter, depending on what your receiving office accepts. Tell us who asked for the document and we will explain which route fits your case.
Yes. We arrange certified English translations of documents in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and other Indian languages. If the receiving office wants another language or a sworn translator, tell us and we will explain the options.
Yes, with a written authorisation and identity proof, though some offices want specific forms or repeat visits. You can name a family member, or let our team act for you. Delivered sets ship to you by tracked courier.
We check your file against the office instructions before we submit it. If an office raises a query or rejects it, we read the reason, tell you what is needed and help you correct and resubmit. We cannot promise approval, because the office decides.
The receiving office decides. We help you read its instructions, prepare to that standard and flag anything unclear before you submit. Please share the written checklist, notice or letter with us. We keep a copy with your order for later.
Property, tax and banking
Yes. Our property service covers inspections, bill payments, repairs with your approval, tenant coordination and photo reports, so you can see the property from abroad. We also keep a record of rent receipts and bills for you to review in one place.
No. We coordinate paperwork and work with qualified chartered accountants and advocates when advice is needed. They advise you directly on residency, taxes, title or disputes. We prepare the paperwork and follow the process, which keeps advice and paperwork separate and clear.
We help you understand the paperwork and prepare for the bank. The bank and the regulations decide what is possible for your case, including KYC, account type and transfers. We can also help you collect the documents a bank may ask for.
Eligibility depends on the rules of the provident fund and on your service record. We help you prepare the claim and follow the process. The EPF authority decides each claim and how long it takes.
We collect the documents and coordinate return preparation with a qualified chartered accountant. You get advice from the accountant, not from us. Share your income details and bank statements when asked. Ask us early if you have also sold property.
We help with tenant search, rent agreements, inspections and document preparation. For a sale, we coordinate with an advocate and a chartered accountant. Title, price and tax questions are answered by them, not by us.
Pricing, time and communication
Pricing depends on the document, the number of offices involved and the delivery method. We share a clear quote before work begins, and government fees and courier charges are shown separately. Ask us to list every cost.
Timelines depend on government office workload and the route for your document. We give an estimate when we review your request, and we update you if it changes. We do not guarantee fixed timelines, because offices decide their own pace.
After you approve the quote, we share payment details. We can discuss options that suit people paying from abroad, such as bank transfer. Ask on WhatsApp or in your call and we will tell you what is available.
We message you on WhatsApp or by call, as you prefer, at each milestone, such as application filed, collected, attested and dispatched. When documents ship, you get a courier tracking number. Tell us if you want updates to also go to a family member.
We ask only for what a task needs, share documents only with the offices involved and do not sell personal data. Share sensitive scans only when we ask for them. Read our privacy page for details.
Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM India time. You can message us any time, and we reply during working hours. Government offices in India also follow their own holidays. Plan for that if you have a deadline.
